Interested in Teaching?

The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at the University of Washington (OLLI-UW) is always looking for speakers to share their knowledge with our members!

OLLI-UW offers short, academic programs for people over 50 years of age in the Puget Sound area. Topics include history, literature, science, art and more. OLLI-UW features speakers from the Pacific Northwest.

Courses are typically offered once a week for four weeks, two hours at a time. Courses are offered both in-person and online via Zoom. In-person courses are taught at multiple locations in the greater Seattle area. Speakers are paid an honorarium of $125 per week.

OLLI-UW also offers one-hour lectures in Mukilteo, Redmond Ridge and over Zoom. Speakers receive a $200 honorarium for giving a talk.

Our speakers need to have a degree in the area they would like to teach. We are currently accepting proposals for courses during the fall, winter and spring quarters. If you're interested in teaching, fill out this form
